Fire returns to London in November as part of this year’s Underwire Film Festival. The festival celebrates the achievements of female filmmaking talent across the crafts and Fire’s producers Carla MacKinnon and Barbara Healy are nominated in their Producing competition category. The film will screen at 7pm on December 1st at Barbican.
Nashville’s Defy Film Festival has named Fire as the Best Short in its competition. Defy Film Festival, which screened 57 films in two days, showcases inspiring and surprising work that resists tradition and creates conversation. You can see the full ‘Best of 2016’ list on their website.
